Join us on Thursday, February 19th at 7:00pm your time, anywhere in the world for the 11th Annual Worldwide Toast to Harry Caray. Fans all over the world will raise a Budweiser (Harry's favorite brand of beer) or other beverage to the late Hall of Fame baseball announcer on the 11th anniversary of his passing.

The theme of this year's tribute is 101, marking the 101 YEARS since the Chicago Cubs last won the World Series. Fans in every state and in 101 COUNTRIES will raise a Budweiser (Harry was known as the "Cub Fan, Bud Man") or other beverage to the late Hall of Fame baseball announcer. Harry estimated that he consumed over 73,000 Budweiser's and 300,000 alcoholic beverages throughout his lifetime.

101 HARRYS
The first 101 fans to arrive for the Toast at each of our restaurant locations-Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse in Chicago, Rosemont and Lombard and Harry Caray's Tavern in Wrigleyville-will be our 101 HARRYS for the festivities. Each will receive a complimentary replica pair of Harry's signature glasses and "Cub Fan, Bud Man" hat.

Additionally, we are inviting Harry Caray Lookalikes to come to Harry's in Chicago where Dutchie Caray and other celebrities will award a prize for the Best Harry. The winner will be selected immediately following the Toast and will receive four Cubs tickets in Harry's seats, an autographed item by Harry Caray and a trio of signed baseballs-Ernie Banks, Ryne Sandberg and Lou Piniella.

101 BUDS
During last year's Toast, Harry Caray's in Chicago set the Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Glass of Beer with a 101 GALLON GLASS OF BUDWEISER. The record setting glass will be on display at the downtown restaurant. Additionally, we will be offering 101 CENT BUDS throughout the day at the Harry Caray's restaurant locations listed above.

101 CELEBRITY TRIBUTES
As always, celebrities around the world will hoist a glass to Harry Caray on this commemorative day. This year, we have established a special Celebrity Toast Line where 101 CELEBRITIES will call in and record their toast to Harry! The celebrity toasts will be played on WLS AM’s The Roe Conn Show throughout the entirety of the show. Fans can also visit harrycarays.com, where they will be able to listen to the toasts online.

TOASTING HARRY AT HARRY CARAY'S
WLS AM Radio's The Roe Conn Show will broadcast live from Harry's Bar from 5:00-7:05pm. At 7:00pm at Harry Caray's in Chicago, Cub fans and Harry Lookalikes will raise a 101 CENT BUD as Dutchie Caray leads the Toast live on the radio followed by a round of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"-the song Harry was famous for singing between the top and bottom of the 7th inning of each game.
