Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse in Lombard is pleased to present a wine and food tasting on Sunday, October 26th at 6:30pm featuring the wines of award-winning Australian winery Mollydooker, alongside an exceptional tasting menu.
Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group Sommelier and Wine Director, Mark Molitor has expertly paired superb Mollydooker wines with a ten plate tasting menu designed by Corporate Executive Chef Paul Katz. The menu will feature items such as Smoked Alaskan Sable with Chive-Anise Crème Fraîche, Prosciutto Di Parma Wrapped Gorgonzola Stuffed Fig with Truffle Oil, Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Blueberry BBQ Sauce and Baby Lamb Chop with Huckleberry Mint Compote.
Celebrated Mollydooker Winemaker, Sparky Marquis, will be speaking about his wines being poured at the event. Along with his wife Sarah, the duo have been awarded the title of Australian Winemakers of the Year, are the only husband and wife winemaking team to receive Mclaren Vale's prestigious Bushing Award three times, and are responsible for crafting four of only 24 Australian wines to receive 99 points from Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate in the last 10 years.
